Pinhole Studies
These images are created with a Pinsta camera—a portable pinhole camera that allows for on-site developing directly onto positive photographic paper. Each photograph is a unique, reversed image: light and shadow captured through a lensless eye and revealed moments later inside the very container that made it.
Because the image is mirrored, familiar places and objects appear slightly off—recognizable yet strange, evoking a quiet sense of the uncanny.
This process slows everything down. Exposure times stretch into minutes, and the development is done by hand, in the field. It becomes a ritual of attention and presence.
